The San Francisco 49ers can do some serious damage in the NFC West if they take care of business Monday night vs. the Washington Commanders.
After the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams both lost in Week 6, the 49ers have a chance to move to three games up on second place in the division with one third of the season down. It would be a major advantage that puts the team squarely in position to compete for the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
Washington isn't off to a great start at 1-3-1, but they're an interesting club with some talented young pieces looking to bounce back from an embarrassing Week 5 tie vs. the New York Giants. It should be a fun one Monday night at Levi's Stadium.
