San Francisco 49ers may have won their Week 3 battle with the Arizona Cardinals 36-30 at Levi's Stadium on Sunday afternoon, but one of the most injured rosters in the league continued to lose key players in the NFC West showdown.
Speaking to the media on Monday, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan provided updates on several injured players ahead of their matchup with the Denver Broncos
at Levi's Stadium on Sunday.- Wide receiver Mike Evans left Sunday's game with a rib injury. While Shanahan wouldn't say if the future Hall of Famer has a broken rib, he did say he could be back for the team's Week 4 game.
- Left tackle Trent Williams, who left Sunday's game with a stinger, should be good to go by Thursday and should play this week.
- Linebacker Dre Greenlaw injured his quad against the Cardinals, but he could be back by Sunday. Shanahan revealed that he has a quad contusion and will be monitored throughout the week.
- Defensive end Romello Height broke his hand in the team's Week 2 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. He underwent surgery and missed the team's Week 3 game, but he's expected to return in Week 4.
- Defensive end Nick Bosa (calf) and defensive lineman James Thompson Jr. (ankle) both didn't play against the Cardinals, and they aren't expected to play against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
