The San Francisco 49ers' Week 3 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals got a little harder Friday when they officially announced their injury report.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan after Friday's practice spoke with reporters in a press conference and said defensive ends Nick Bosa and Romello Height, along with defensive tackle James Thompson Jr. and wide receiver Demarcus Robinson, have all been ruled out for the 49ers' second NFC West matchup of the year.
Wide receiver Mike Evans, who is dealing with a hip injury, is officially questionable. He did practice after missing the first two sessions of the week, though Shanahan declined to say whether the veteran receiver was a full or limited participant. The report released by the 49ers indicated Evans was limited.
Bosa is working through a calf injury and will miss "a few weeks" according to Shanahan. News of his injury came down Friday morning. Thompson and Robinson both suffered high ankle sprains in Week 2, so their absences aren't a surprise. Height broke his hand in Week 2 and needed surgery. Shanahan left the door open to the rookie defensive end playing Sunday, but he's now officially ruled out.

The 49ers have until 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:05pm Pacific Time kickoff to make a decision on Evans. If he can't play we may see the 49ers elevate veteran WR Brandin Cooks from the practice squad as they search for depth in the receiving corps.
