The 2-0 San Francisco 49ers will meet the 1-1 Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at Levi's Stadium for their first of two division battles this season.
Ahead of the game, the 49ers announced a quartet of roster moves.
They placed wide receiver Demarcus Robinson on injured reserve after he suffered an ankle injury in their Week 2 win over the Miami Dolphins. With Mike Evans questionable with a hip injury, and the trio of Ricky Pearsall, Christian Kirk and De'Zhaun Stribling, Brock Purdy might have to throw to Deebo Samuel, Jordan Watkins, Jacob Cowing and KhaDarel Hodge this weekend.
To fill the roster spot, San Francisco signed defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko Jr. The 26-year-old recently joined San Francisco's practice squad after spending time with
the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders and Indianapolis Colts.
The 49ers also elevated defensive linemen Kevin Givens and Sebastian Valdez from their practice squad. Givens has 92 career tackles in 70 games with the 49ers over seven years, while Valdez joined the team as an undrafted rookie in 2025.
