EA Sports has officially revealed full team ratings ahead of the launch of "Madden NFL 27," and the San Francisco 49ers once again find themselves near the top of the league. Coming in as the No. 7 team in this year's game with an 85 overall team rating, San Francisco remains a heavy-hitting roster powered by blue-chip starters across both sides of the ball.
The 49ers feature five players rated 94 overall or higher. All-Pro halfback Christian McCaffrey (97 overall) and middle linebacker Fred Warner (97 overall) anchor the roster as team ratings leaders, closely followed by tight end George Kittle (96 overall), left tackle Trent Williams (96 overall), and edge rusher Nick Bosa (94 overall).
The marquee addition to San Francisco's offense in "Madden
27" is veteran wide receiver Mike Evans, who enters with a strong 91 overall rating (89 speed, 87 injury). Evans steps in as the primary downfield threat for quarterback Brock Purdy (85 overall, 89 injury, 86 awareness).

Behind Evans, second-year wide receiver Ricky Pearsall earned an 80 overall rating featuring 92 speed and 91 agility, although it remains to be seen how this will change after his recent injury situation. Newly acquired wide receiver Christian Kirk checks in right behind him with a 78 overall rating (90 speed, 87 agility) and 2026 second-round rookie De'Zhaun Stribling is rated at 74 overall.
Wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk remains listed on the Madden roster with a 77 overall rating (90 speed, 89 agility), despite currently being placed on the reserve/left squad list in real life. He is not expected to return to the 49ers.
Along the offensive line and secondary, second-year right guard Puni cracks the top 10 with an 82 overall rating powered by 91 strength, while right tackle Colton McKivitz (84 strength) and cornerback Deommodore Lenoir (90 speed) round out the core starting group at 81 overall each.
