The San Francisco 49ers are at home again in Week 4, as they'll host the Denver Broncos on Sunday at Levi's Stadium, as they try to move to 4-0 and maintain a lead in the NFC West.
Ahead of the game, the 49ers announced that they've waived defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko Jr., signed defensive lineman Sebastian Valdez and elevated defensive end Matthew Judon and wide receiver Malik Turner.
Fehoko, 26, joined the 49ers this year after stints with the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders and Indianapolis Colts. He's appeared in one game for San Francisco this year, playing 13 defensive snaps.
Valdez, 24, signed with the team as an undrafted free agent in 2025. He spent his rookie season on the practice squad and has appeared in one game so far this
year, recording three tackles against the Arizona Cardinals last week.
Judon, 34, joined San Francisco's practice squad this week. The four-time Pro Bowler has played for the Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills. The 49ers are hoping he can provide some pass-rush help on Sunday.
Turer, 30, entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2018 out of Illinois. He's caught 29 passes for 414 yards and four touchdowns while playing for the 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders, Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts. He may have to out in a thin wide receiver room.
