The San Francisco 49ers beat the Washington Commanders on Monday night to move to 6-0, and now they have a quick turnaround before their Week 7 battle with the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
San Francisco will practice on Wednesday afternoon at their SAP Performance Center, and before the session, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan provided status updates on several injured players.
Among those updates was the expected participation report for Wednesday, which included the fact that wide receiver Mike Evans (Achilles), defensive end Nick Bosa (calf), cornerback Upton Stout (shoulder), wide receiver Deebo Samuel (hamstring), linebacker Luke Gifford (groin) and defensive lineman Mykel Williams (knee) won't practice.
Shanahan did, however,
say the team hopes to get Bosa back at practice on Thursday, which could pave the way for his return to the field on Sunday against the 2-4 Falcons. Bosa has missed the last four games due to a calf injury that he suffered ahead of the team's Week 3 battle with the Arizona Cardinals. If he can come back this week, it'll be a huge boost for San Francisco's pass rush.
