It’s time for another installment of our Trade Machine Rankings series, where we look at the players who have been plugged into our Trade Machine most often.

5. Kyrie Irving (Dallas)

Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving is not getting traded anytime soon. Perhaps he'll be dealt at the trade deadline if the Mavs' season is in the gutter and the team decides to go even younger, but for now, they are reportedly excited to see how Irving can
help Cooper Flagg develop in Year 2.
Regardless, that hasn't stopped fans from putting Irving in our trade machine, with his most common landing spots being Miami (10.81 percent), Denver (7.21 percent) and Brooklyn (7.21 percent). Meanwhile, the players Irving has most commonly been getting traded for are Bobby Portis (4.95 percent), Nikola Jovic (4.50 percent) and Michael Porter Jr (4.50 percent).
This is a case for bored fans, who probably root for the Heat, trying to find a way to land a third superstar to place alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo, rather than any sort of reaction to actual news, as it has been well-documented that Irving won't be moved prior to the season.

4. RJ Barrett (Toronto)

As Toronto Raptors fans anxiously awaited the Kawhi Leonard-for-Brandon Ingram deal to come to fruition officially, they hammered our trade machine with deals involving some of their role players: RJ Barrett, Jakob Poeltl and Immanuel Quickley.
Barrett's most common landing spots on our trade machine have been Denver (11.46 percent), New Orleans (6.32 percent) and Chicago (5.93 percent), while the players he has most commonly been traded for have been Nikola Jokic (4.35 percent), Aaron Gordon (4.35 percent) and Myles Turner (3.95 percent).

3. De'Aaron Fox (San Antonio)
Share: 3.74 percent of trades on our trade machine
It makes a little more sense that De'Aaron Fox has been included so often on our trade machine, as San Antonio Spurs fans probably still hold some level of ill will toward the veteran point guard (as a player) after his brutal Finals run, leading to them plugging him into our trade machine to find out who San Antonio might be able to land in exchange for Fox.
After Bill Simmons waxed poetically on his podcast and mentioned San Antonio going for it and trading for Stephen Curry, the two-time MVP has remained the top returning player for Fox in trades put together on our trade machine. with Curry being the returning player for Fox in 6.71 percent of deals. Fox's top destinations on our trade machine have been Golden State (9.9 percent), Toronto (7.35 percent) and the L.A. Clippers (5.75 percent).
The other top returning players for Fox have been Luka Doncic (5.43 percent) and Evan Mobley (4.47 percent), the former of which is very much wishful thinking by Spurs fans (how fun would a Doncic-Victor Wembanyama pairing be, though?). The latter is more random, as the Spurs don't really need more frontcourt help (at least not from a player like Mobley, who plays like a very poor man's Wembanyama), while the Cleveland Cavaliers definitely don't need another star-level guard.

2. Jakob Poeltl (Toronto)
Share: 4.99 percent of trades on our trade machine
Over half of the deals involving Quickley have also included veteran big man Jakob Poeltl, a player that Toronto fans might not be all that against trading.
The most popular landing spots for Poeltl on our trade machine have been Charlotte (7.19 percent), Utah (6.00 percent) and his former team, San Antonio (5.76). Meanwhile, the names most commonly returning to the Raptors in Poeltl deals on our trade machine have been Canadian point guard Jamal Murray (4.80 percent), Naz Reid (4.56 percent) and Grayson Allen (4.56 percent).
However, Jaren Jackson Jr. has also been a popular name returning to the Raptors on our trade machine, which speaks to Raptors fans' hopes of improving their frontcourt, which was probably their biggest weakness last season. Jackson Jr. paired with Scottie Barnes and Leonard would form one of the nastiest defensive frontcourts in the NBA today. We just don't think the Jazz are all that eager to ship Jackson Jr. anywhere after trading for him just last season.

1. Immanuel Quickley (Toronto)
Share: 5.31 percent of trades on our trade machine
Finally, Quickley has been the top name traded on our trade machine lately, appearing in 5.31 percent of trades.
Once again, we must reiterate this isn't based on any sort of reporting, but rather Toronto fans just having fun with our trade machine.
Quickley has most often ended up in Denver (7.43 percent), Charlotte (6.53 percent) and Utah (28, 6.31 percent), while the players he's most often been traded for are Murray (5.81 percent), Josh Giddey (4.28 percent) and Brandon Miller (4.28 percent).
Those results speak to the randomness of trade machine action. Murray would make a ton of sense for the Raptors, as his tough shot-making would fit wonderfully with the team's needs, but we're certain the Nuggets don't plan on trading him anytime soon. Giddey would be interesting for the Raptors, as he's an elite playmaker and rebounder for his position, but the fit with Barnes, who, like Giddey, also struggles as a shooter, might be wonky. And the Miller result is pure randomness on the side of our trade machine, as he's one of the building blocks in Charlotte and wouldn't fit on a roster that already has wings as good as Barnes and Leonard.
