Mark Pope and Kentucky basketball received some good recruiting news on Monday. First, they gained a prediction to land elite center Cheriff Millogo. Then, guard Adan Diggs revealed that he was down to four schools, and the Wildcats made the cut.
Per On3's Joe Tipton
, Diggs is choosing between Kentucky, Arkansas, Arizona, and the USC Trojans, and is looking to make a decision soon. He is expected to announce a commitment in November.Diggs is a 6'4", 180 lb combo guard out of Arizona who does a bit of everything. On the Nike EYBL circuit, he averaged 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals per game. He is currently rated five stars by 247Sports, and ranks as their No. 6 overall player in the class.
Kentucky already has four-star forward
Ryan Hampton on board for next year, and landing both Millogo and Diggs would be a massive win for Pope, who has been criticized for his lack of top recruits. Diggs is definitely a top recruit, and would halt some of that criticism. We will continue to follow this story.
