In their last time on the court, Kentucky basketball got out to an unimpressive start. They turned the ball over, and shots weren't falling, leading to an early deficit. However, their defense keyed a run, and the offense finally found their footing. They'd go on to beat Texas Tech 76-65.
Tonight, the Wildcats take on UCF in their third, and final, exhibition game. It's one last chance to iron out some of the wrinkles they've seen in the first two outings, and gain experience as a unit on the floor in real action.
Coach Mark Pope's biggest questions come at guard. Alex Wilkins broke out last against the Red Raiders, but still takes some bad shots while Zoom Diallo has been effective in the lane, but has had turnover issues. Meanwhile, freshman
Mason Williams has looked like a natural, and hasn't shown an ounce of nerves. Up front, they have size, but Kentucky's big men have to rebound better, though they can score.
