Kentucky basketball has scheduled their first visit with a recruit in the 2028 class, according to a report from 247Sports.
Mark Pope has already landed one of the top players in the 2027 class by getting a commitment from Ryan Hampton. They are working on adding more 2027 talent as well, but Kentucky is also hard at work establishing connections with the 2028 class too, including forward Benjamin Berrouet
.Berrouet is a 6'7" 240 lb forward out of Dallas, Texas. He is currently rated four stars by 247Sports, though other services have him rated five stars. He ranks as the No. 13 overall player in the class in the composite rankings.
The Wildcats will host Berrouet for a visit on Oct. 9, according to the report. For now, he's set to be there for a few
days, until the 11th, giving Pope plenty of time to give the talented big man a look at what Kentucky offers.
Most recently, Berrouet starred for Latvia at the FIBA Eurobasket final where he scored 22 points and 13 rebounds. He averaged 23 points and 15 rebounds on the way to being named MVP of the tournament. His stock has soared as he has shown just how good he can be.
Berrouet already has a number of offers from top programs, including Louisville, Kansas, Houston, and Arkansas among others. He has already taken visits with several schools, and now Kentucky will get its turn.
