The Kentucky football team faces a huge test this week when the No. 10 LSU Tigers come to town. They are a true playoff contender, and one of the SEC's best teams. As such, most experts are predicting them to beat the Wildcats.
Those experts include the analysts at USA TODAY Sports. They have released their week six picks, and all seven of them picked LSU over Kentucky. It's something that will be pretty universal too. A lot of people still don't believe in the Wildcats, including voters in the AP top 25, who dropped them out of the rankings, despite their win over South Carolina.
It would be a huge win for Kentucky, and there is a history of great games between the two teams. The Bluegrass Miracle is well-remembered in Lexington. However, the Wildcats
got one of the biggest upsets in program history in 2007 when the Tigers were the No. 1 team in the country.
In 2026, the Wildcats are getting used to being underdogs. Against both of the SEC teams they played, the opponent was favored to win. Big Blue Nation will be hoping that the result this weekend matches that of the previous two times as well.
