Will Levis had a solid stint with the Kentucky Wildcats, proving to be one of the top quarterbacks at the collegiate level despite some looming turnover concerns. Levis started his collegiate career with Penn State, seeing limited action there and ultimately transferring to Kentucky for the 2021 season.
He did fall in the 2023 NFL Draft, having been selected at the start of the second round. Levis was pegged by some as a top-five pick given his upside, but that obviously didn't come to fruition.
The 6-foot-3 quarterback has a Josh Allen-like build, and that's likely what the Tennessee Titans were hoping Levis could blossom to resemble. Levis started nine games as a rookie, ending with a 3-6 record and eight touchdowns to four interceptions. He
followed that up with 12 starts as a sophomore in 2024, but the Titans had just a 2-10 record when he was under center. He regressed, having just 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
Levis missed the entire 2025 season after shoulder surgery in the summer of 2025. That said, he's had some time off, but he's still confident that he's among the top-32 quarterbacks in the NFL.

The Titans, at least partially because of Levis' collapse, took Cam Ward with the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, so it isn't likely that Levis will be stealing the starting spot from the young gun at least to start the season. Ward didn't have a good rookie season though, showing limited promise as he captained the Titans to a 3-14 record. Now, he did have 15 touchdowns to just 7 interceptions, which was an improvement upon Levis.
Nonetheless, the Ward-Levis battle may just be heating up with the former Wildcats confident comments during the offseason.
