Kentucky football coach Will Stein hugged his quarterback, Kenny Minchey, after he found Willie Rodriguez in the back of the endzone for a game-winning two-point conversion to beat South Carolina. As the two embraced, celebrating their dramatic victory, Big Blue Nation was also enjoying the win.
It wasn't easy, and Kentucky fans spent most of the game on pins and needles. The Wildcats fell behind 17-0, and looked out-matched. However, they forced a few turnovers, made a few big plays, and ended up with a come-from behind win.
Kenny Minchey was terrific, with 272 yards and 3 touchdowns, including the score and the conversion in the overtime period. Receiver Kenny Darby continued to shine with 12 catches for 96 yards and a touchdown.
When things
were over, many fans took to social media to post their excitement. Many past Kentucky stars joined them, along with future athletes. They were also happy to post their post-game celebrations on X. Here are some of their posts.
