Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix had a night to forget against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1.
Nix was sacked four times, fumbled three times and threw an interception in a 31-10 loss to Denver's division rival. Nix insists that he wasn't rusty in his first game back since breaking his ankle in January, but the quarterback didn't look like his usual self on Monday Night Football.
Nix averaged 1.35 sacks per game through his first two NFL seasons, and he fumbled three times in 2024 and four times in 2025. After a four-sack, three-fumble performance in Week 1, the quarterback went viral on social media for this unfortunate play:

After pass rusher Nick Bolton knocked the ball away from Nix,
teammate George Karlaftis immediately slammed the quarterback while Nix looked for the ball. The above video is approaching seven million views on Twitter/X, and other versions of the same video are drawing additional views on social media.
That play will undoubtedly be a meme going forward.
Nix and the Broncos will hope to avenge Monday's loss when they host the Chiefs in Week 8.
