The Denver Broncos (3-2) were able to pull out another late-game, 23-17 win against the 0-5 Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, but it took everything the Broncos had to pull out the victory.
The Denver defense put on a masterclass, generating three turnovers (two fumbles and an interception), plus a turnover on downs against LA.
Denver's offense, on the other hand, needs some work going into a short week and beyond. The offense had a hard time moving the ball in the first 45 minutes of the game, aside from a second-drive touchdown. They couldn't take advantage of a short field off a Marvin Mims punt return and four of their five scoring drives came off turnovers.
Broncos Country reacted to the mixed-bag win on Twitter. Check out what they had to say
below.
Final: #Broncos escape the Chargers with a 23-17 victory.

Ja'Quan McMillian and the Denver defense closed the job.
The record: 3-2.
#Broncos win 23-17 after things looked dire in the 4th quarter.

Defense gave the offense short fields, and Denver’s offense did just enough.
Team moves to 3-2, but offense continues to look uninspiring.
JMac with sack to prevent Hail Mary toss by Justin Herbert. It was ugly offensively, gritty defensively and absolutely necessary. #Broncos win 23-17, improve to 3-2 with Thursday night home matchup with defending champion Seattle #BroncosCountry

#Broncos survive adversity vs. banged up Chargers team.

Denver goes to 3-2, but plenty of concerns about the offense.
Now, they face a stingy Seahawks team on Thursday.
Nix is playing poorly and yet somehow Justin Herbert has found a way to play sooooo much worse.

If the #Broncos win this game, it'll feel like a person who hasn't eaten in a week and is served a tuna fish sandwich and glass of milk that's been sitting in the sun for 5 days.

It's food, but it's nauseating.
As I’ve always said, Bo Nix is great and there’s nothing wrong with him

Shoutout to Vance Joseph and the defense man

Offense. Idk what the hell is going on with yall. Not a good special teams game either
But defense. Shoutout to yall pic.twitter.com/PBKwoi3YRV
It was nice to see Sutton and Dobbins come alive late.
— MileHighReport (@MileHighReport) October 11, 2026
Need more of that from both.
It has not been pretty & there are legit questions about Bo Nix but the #Broncos are 3-2 after five weeks with a chance to make it 4-2 this Thursday.
— Josh Dover (@JoshuaDover) October 11, 2026
We wanted 3-3 and now we can get greedy with 4-2.
Far from a finished product but I am not sorry for a win!#BroncosCountry
The Denver Broncos.
— Zach Bye (@byesline) October 11, 2026
The most unsustainable yet somehow sustainable comeback team I’ve ever seen.
The Broncos won. They got takeaways, which was a significant goal of theirs this season. But the offensive glitches weren’t fixed. Survive & advance to the next game. But they’re not going to be dynamic with 61 yards on 7 catches for the ENTIRE WR corps. Dobbins got going late.
— Andrew Mason (@MaseDenver) October 11, 2026
The Broncos now have to watch the tape and put this behind them quickly as they come back to Denver to face the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football in Week 6.
