The Denver Broncos certainly have a flair for the dramatic. After winning 11 one-score games n 2025, the Broncos' two wins thus far in 2026 have come as one-score victories. The most recent example came on Sunday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams, where Denver came from behind after a 16-0 deficit at the halftime break, furiously rallying to win the game 30-26.
The game also served as another piece of NFL history for the Broncos. Denver became the first team in league history to climb back from a scoreless first half, trailing by 13 or more points, to score 30+ points in the second half of a game in back-to-back seasons.
The first time the Broncos didn't score in the first half but came back in the second half with that kind of production
was the miraculous win against the New York Giants last fall. The Broncos went down 13-0 at the break, and down 26-8 at one point in the fourth, before a historic comeback to win 33-32.

Denver also made franchise history with their 16-point rally. For the first time in team history, the Broncos fought back from a double-digit, second-half deficit to win consecutive games. The Broncos were down 13-3 against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2. Appropriately, the moment came in front of a host of Broncos alumni, from the origins of the team to now.
For all their great comebacks, this is the first time in Broncos HISTORY they rallied from double-digit, second-half deficits to win in back-to-back games.

Broncos were down 13-3 in 3Q last week to Jaguars, won 20-13.
They were down 16-0 in 3Q tonight to Rams, won 30-26.

The Broncos escaped another close one, and were aided by penalties and a little Mile High Magic. It just seems to be the norm rather than the exception at this point.
