The Denver Broncos wrapped up preseason with a 34-6 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Friday evening. Following that victory, here are Denver's best (and worst) player grades from Pro Football Focus.
Broncos best offensive players
- OL Kage Casey: 88.6
- FB Adam Prentice: 84.0
- TE Nate Adkins: 75.5
- RB Cody Schrader: 73.9
- C Lecitus Smith: 70.0
Cody Schrader may have just won a spot on the practice squad.
Broncos worst offensive players
- OL Gavin Ortega: 36.1
- OL Foster Sarell: 43.1
- WR Kolbe Katsis: 46.8
- WR Cam Ross: 52.6
- WR Kyrese Rowan: 52.9
It's very important to note that is Katsis's wide receiver grade. He impressed as a returner.
Broncos best defensive players
- OLB Que Robinson: 85.9
- DL Kristian Williams: 84.4
- CB Sean Fresch: 72.6
- CB Brent Austin: 72.5
- OLB Johnny Walker: 70.1
Robinson could begin the season as the club's No. 3 pass rusher behind Nik Bonitto and Jonah Elliss if Jonathon Cooper is placed on the commissioner's exempt list.
Broncos worst defensive grades
- DL Jordan Miller: 30.1
- OLB Ron Stone: 30.1
- CB Ricardo Hallman: 30.5
- LB Taurean York: 41.0
- CB Jahdae Barron: 47.4
Miller, Stone and Hallman were among the team's first roster cuts on Saturday.
Broncos special teams grades
- ST Miles Scott: 81.1
- LS Luke Basson: 54.9
- KR Kolbe Katsis: 76.6
- P Jeremy Crawshaw: 60.9
- K Wil Lutz: 67.7 (FG) 55.2 (KO)
Katsis impressed
as a returner this summer, and if he doesn't make the active roster, he will likely be a top target for the practice squad.
