The Denver Broncos (1-1) will face the Los Angeles Rams (1-1) on Sunday Night Football in Week 3 in what might be the biggest game of the week. Patrick Surtain II vs. Davante Adams might be the biggest matchup in that game.
Adams is coming off a massive performance against the New York Giants, in which he caught eight passes for 195 yards, averaging nearly 25 yards per catch while also finding the end zone twice. With Puka Nacua unlikely to play in this game, Adams will be the prime target for Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford.
The Rams will try to attack Surtain down the field with Adams in this game, but good luck with that. Surtain is widely considered to be the best cornerback in the NFL and a statistic recently uncovered by NFL Next Gen Stats

Yes, you read that correctly. No team has completed a pass of 10 or more air yards against Surtain in his last 213 coverage snaps. That is Deion Sanders-level stuff.
Adams and Surtain have had some good battles in the past when Adams was a member of the Las Vegas Raiders. In Week 11 of the 2022 season, Adams schooled the young Surtain on the day, including catching the game-winning touchdown in overtime. Adams proclaimed that Surtain "wasn't ready" immediately after the game.

However, since then Surtain has gotten the better of him every time.
The two will square off again on Sunday night. Will Adams be able to build off his big game on Monday night, or will PS2 shut him down as he does basically everyone he goes against these days?
