The Denver Broncos lost to the San Francisco 49ers 24-14 in Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season. Following that loss, here are Denver's best (and worst) player grades from Pro Football Focus.
Broncos best offensive players
- RG Quinn Meinerz: 79.0
- OT Mike McGlinchey: 76.8
- RB Tyler Badie: 76.5
- TE Adam Trautman: 68.9
- C Luke Wattenberg: 66.3
On a day to forget for the offense, guard Quinn Meinerz was a bright spot once again. The 27-year-old guard is likely headed toward his third consecutive first-team All-Pro selection.
Broncos worst offensive players
- TE Nate Adkins: 51.7
- WR Troy Franklin: 52.1
- WR Courtland Sutton: 52.5
- TE Evan Engram: 53.9
- RB RJ Harvey: 55.2
Broncos WR Jaylen Waddle (58.1) had the team's sixth-worst grade on offense after another drop, which is a troubling trend. QB Bo Nix (59.1) had the seventh-worst grade on offense.
Broncos best defensive players
- OLB Nik Bonitto: 76.5
- CB Jahdae Barron: 76.1
- DL Sai'vion Jones: 75.6
- DB Brandon Jones: 73.7
- DL Zach Allen: 73.4
Nik Bonitto didn't register any sacks, but he was Denver's highest-graded defender. Jahdae Barron stepped up after
Pat Surtain went down with an ankle injury.
Broncos worst defensive grades
- CB Que Robinson: 36.5
- OLB Jonah Elliss: 39.8
- CB Ja'Quan McMillian: 40.2
- DL Eyioma Uwazurike: 49.0
- DB Talanoa Hufanga: 50.3
Denver's defense failed to record any sacks, but they did hold the Niners to 6-of-13 (46%) on third downs, and the Broncos had a stop in the red zone and a turnover on downs.
Broncos special teams grades
- ST Zach Allen: 93.5
- LS Mitchell Fraboni: 60.0
- KR Marvin Mims: N/A
- P Jeremy Crawshaw: N/A
- K Wil Lutz: 57.3 (FG) N/A (KO)
Zach Allen blocked a field goal. Marvin Mims lost a fumble on a punt return, but PFF grades are glitching for kickoffs and punts.
