Denver Broncos fans will recognize at least one member of the Carolina Panthers when the two teams clash on Sunday.
The Panthers' punter is Sam Martin, who held that role in Denver from 2020 to 2021 before declining to take a pay
cut and being released in 2022. The Broncos then turned to Corliss Waitman before replacing him with Riley Dixon in 2023. Dixon lasted two seasons before being replaced by Jeremy Crawshaw in 2025.Martin, meanwhile, punted for three seasons with the Buffalo Bills before landing in Carolina last year. Martin ranks 23rd in the NFL this season with an average of 46.7 yards per punt (Crawshaw's 48.0 average ranks 13th).
The Panthers also have another ex-Bronco on defense, but he's currently on injured reserve. Pass rusher
Thomas Incoom signed with Denver as an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan in 2023. He landed in Carolina after being cut by the Broncos in 2024.
