The Denver Broncos were able to even their record at 1-1 on the season with a 20-13 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunay. The win helped wash away the bad taste in the mouths of those within Broncos Country, and just like that, the season's outlook is back on track.
Following the Week 1 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, we took a look at the Broncos' snap counts and tried to draw some conclusions from them, so we'll do it again this week. Here's a look at the team's Week 2 snap counts.
Takeaways from Broncos' snap counts in Week 2

1. Jahdae Barron again a non-factor
After seeing just four snaps in Week 1 on defense, 2025 first-round pick Jahdae Barron was on the field for just two defensive snaps in this game. It's becoming increasingly difficult to see where he fits on this roster as anything other than an emergency
replacement should one of the starters suffer an injury.
The Broncos could soon have some decisions to make with him.
2. Jaylen Waddle makes a quick impact
If the Broncos had only one objective in this game, it was to get the ball into the hands of Jaylen Waddle, the player the team gave up precious draft capital to obtain. That goal was achieved as Waddle caught eight passes for 138 yards.
Those numbers are even more impressive when you consider that Waddle was on the field for just 38 of the Broncos' 62 snaps (61 percent).
3. Jonah Elliss has most snaps at OLB
Jonah Elliss was on the field for 41 of the Broncos' defensive snaps, more than Nik Bonitto (40), Que Robinson (19) and Dondrea Tillman (18). Robinson did get a sack, which was the first for an outside linebacker for the Broncos this season.
The Broncos have just four team sacks this season, so the absence of Jonathon Cooper seems to be a factor.
4. Jonah Coleman gets an extended look
The Broncos had fourth-round pick Jonah Coleman on the field for just three offensive snaps in Week 1 and the only time he touched the ball was on a kickoff return. Due to RJ Harvey missing the game with a hamstring injury and J.K. Dobbins being limited Sunday after also suffering a tweak to his hamstring, Coleman was given his shot.
He stepped up in a major way, rushing for 39 yards and catching three passes for 19 yards while scoring the game-winning touchdown, his first as a professional player.
Coleman made sure to keep that ball, and the Broncos need to make sure to keep him involved in the game plan going forward.
