The Denver Broncos had a busy day on Tuesday, making five changes to the practice squad.
First, Denver signed back Jaret Patterson, defensive back Ugo Amadi and defensive tackle Jordan Miller. The Broncos had room for Patterson after safety Taylor Rapp was promoted to the 53-man roster last week. To make room for Amadi and Miller, Denver released wide receivers Eli Pancol and Cam Ross.
Denver now has a pair of running backs available on the practice squad as Patterson joins Cody Schrader. With RJ Harvey (knee) and Tyler Badie (thumb) both on injured reserve, J.K. Dobbins and Jonah Coleman are the only two running backs currently on the active roster.
Badie will be eligible to return from IR in Week 12 and Harvey will be eligible to return in Week 13.
In the meantime, Schrader and Patterson will provide more depth from the practice squad.
