The Denver Broncos are bringing back a familiar face after losing wide receiver Pat Bryant to an ankle injury.
The Broncos have signed undrafted rookie receiver Cameron Ross to their practice squad, according to a report from KUSA-TV's Mike Klis. Ross (5-10, 186 pounds) signed with Denver as a UDFA out of Virginia this spring.
Ross totaled five receptions for 29 yards, rushed twice for 21 yards and returned seven kicks for 64 yards in preseason. After failing to make the 53-man roster in August, Ross was not initially signed to the 17-player practice squad. Just over one month later, he's now being brought back to add more depth at the position.
The Broncos will need to make a corresponding roster move to create a spot for Ross on the practice
squad. Before bringing Ross back, Denver had four receivers on the practice squad: Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Michael Bandy, Kolbe Katsis and Dane Key.
