The Denver Broncos will add a new alternate look to their uniform wardrobe in 2027.
The NFL debuted new "Rivalries" uniforms in 2025, starting with the AFC East and NFC West. Two divisions will be featured in the "Rivalries" series over the next three years — 2026, 2027, 2028 — covering all 32 teams. This year, the AFC South and NFC North are getting alternate designs.
Next year, the Broncos (and the entire AFC West) will join the fun, plus the NFC East. The new alternate will not replace the team's existing throwback or navy alternate. Rather, the "Rivalries" look will be added to the rotation.
"Following their reveal, these Rivalries uniforms will be included in their team’s uniform lineup for three years after introduction, in addition to existing
alternate uniforms," the NFL said in a statement.
The league also said the "Rivalries" designs are "born from local community insights." They will, as the name suggests, be worn for a select home game against a division rival.
So, mark your calendars, uniform enthusiasts. The Broncos should have a new look by this time next year.
