The Denver Broncos might be missing their top cornerback and third wide receiver for their next four games.
During an interview with Vic Lombardi of Altitude Sports Radio (92.5 FM) on Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter said Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain (ankle) and wide receiver Pat Bryant (ankle) could be placed on injured reserve. Both players are dealing with sprained ankles, and if they land on IR, they will be required to sit out at least four games before being eligible to return.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler had previously reported that Surtain could miss "about two weeks," but if Schefter's more recent report is accurate, it might actually be four weeks.
Just had @AdamSchefter on the show. He expects Pat Surtain and Pat Bryant to be placed on IR, which
means 4 weeks minimum. @AltitudeSR

The Broncos are set to face the Los Angeles Chargers (0-4), Seattle Seahawks (3-1), Arizona Cardinals (1-3) and Kansas City Chiefs (4-0) over the next four games. Players who go on IR this week would be eligible to return against the Carolina Panthers (2-2) in Week 9.
