The Denver Broncos lead 13-6 at halftime of their Week 7 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The biggest story of the first half has to be quarterback Bo Nix.
Nix, who was much maligned for his quarterback play in the first six weeks, provided the lone touchdown thus far for Denver, with a career-long 62-yard touchdown run in the second quarter of the game. That marked the longest quarterback touchdown run in franchise history.
With a whole half left to go, the Broncos will see if Nix's run can spark the offense moving forward.
Broncos Twitter was elated with the huge touchdown run. Check out their reactions below.

Sean Payton was asked Friday if he'd like to see Bo run more:

“A lot of that happens with back-to-the-quarterback defense. It’s a little bit different when eyes are to the quarterback. So when you get the man combinations or the match stuff… It’s not on my Top-10 list of things…
Bo Nix's 62-yard touchdown run is the Broncos' longest gain on the ground since Melvin Gordon went 70 yards for a touchdown in Week 1 of the 2021 season.

22 carries, 37 yards, TD
Bo Nix rushing today:
1 carry, 62 yards, TD
That was one of those back-to-the-quarterback plays for the Arizona defense Sean Payton talked about Friday as one of the chances Bo Nix might have to "organically" find some big runs.

The longest, by far, of Nix's career. What a play.
There's a whole half left of football left. Can this spark the Broncos?
