Predicting the 38 roster moves Broncos will make this weekend

The Denver Broncos are going into their preseason finale with 91 players on their offseason roster. After facing the Minnesota Vikings on Friday evening, Denver will have until 4 p.m. MT on Sunday, Aug. 30, to finalize an (initial) 53-man roster for the 2026 season.

So, that means there are at least 38 roster moves on deck for the Broncos this weekend. Not all of them have to be cuts. Denver could trade a few players and at least one offensive lineman (Nick Gargiulo) will likely be placed on the reserve/physically unable to perform list, sidelining him for at least the first four weeks of the season.
