Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton had a heated exchange with an assistant coach midway through the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Broncos received a five-yard penalty for having too many men on the field after defensive end Eyioma Uwazurike did not sub out fast enough. Following that flag, CBS cameras caught Payton exchanging fiery remarks with defensive line coach Jamar Cain.
Fortunately, that penalty did not end up costing Denver as Kansas City's drive later ended with a missed field goal attempt, and the Broncos went on to win, but the moment went viral on social media.

Denver eventually won 28-24, marking Payton's 200th win in the NFL. After the game, Payton said it was an emotional
day, and he mentioned yelling at several staffers on the sideline.
"It was emotional," Payton said. "The timing of the game and everything else. I’m screaming at Vance [Joseph] one second and then I’m hugging Vance and shaking Andy’s [Reid] hand. There’s nothing like it. I think the little bit of the curse is that I hate losing probably more than I like winning. So this was a good win.”
Cain and Joseph weren't the only ones who heard from Payton on Sunday afternoon. After it started raining, Payton also wasn't pleased with assistant to the head coach Paul Kelly.
"The problem is my fricking call sheet’s getting soggy," Payton said. "I didn’t laminate it. Paul told me it wasn’t going to rain until the end of the game. I’m yelling at him. Just lessons learned."
Sunday certainly wasn't the first time Payton has had a fiery moment on Denver's sideline. He previously had heated moments with former quarterback Russell Wilson and current QB Bo Nix, among others.
Payton clearly has high standards for his players and coaches alike, which undoubtedly played a role in him becoming the sixth-fastest coach to reach 200 career wins in NFL history.
