The Denver Broncos are now 6-2 and sit atop the AFC West after a wild, come-from-behind win that ended in a goal-line stand of the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High.
The Broncos, who were down for 90 percent of the game, had things turn on a dime once again in the fourth quarter. Down 24-13 at the start of the fourth, the Broncos mounted a furious comeback coupled with a couple of Chiefs stops. The biggest turning point of the game was when Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker missed a field goal, followed by an immediate 52-yard pitch-and-catch from quarterback Bo Nix to standout rookie running back Jonah Coleman that helped set up a lead less than two minutes to go.
At the end, the Broncos defense willed the team to victory,
finishing it off with a fourth-down sack to win the game.
Here is a sampling of how the Broncos Country reacted to the wild win.

Denver 28-24 on a goal line stand.
These teams are tied atop the AFC West at 6-2.
What a ballgame.
#Broncos make one of the best defensive stands in franchise history. A goal line stand, ending with a sack of Mahomes.. #Broncos win 28-24. They now control their destiny in the AFC West and in the AFC at large. What a game.

Broncos 28, Chiefs 24 — FINAL

A heroic goal-line stand. Aided by a false-start penalty that wiped out a touchdown pass. Unbelievable. Mahomes and the Chiefs got to the 1 and then no farther. The Broncos rally from an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit. Just another comeback. Denver…

Your Denver Broncos are on top of the AFC West! They have Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers ahead, and then their bye. The Broncos now control their own fate and are ready for what's ahead. That is, if they don't kill us all with late-game heart attacks first.
