The Denver Broncos will be missing at least two starting defensive backs when they host the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football on Oct. 15.
The Broncos have ruled out safety Talanoa Hufanga (ankle) and cornerback Pat Surtain (ankle) for Thursday's game. ESPN has reported that Hufanga could miss 2-3 weeks. Earlier this month, ESPN also reported that Surtain could miss "about two weeks," so there seems to be at least a chance PS2 could return to action in Week 7.
Elsewhere on the injury front, cornerback Riley Moss (ribs) is listed as questionable. Everyone else on the active roster, including defensive lineman Sai'vion Jones (shoulder), has been cleared to play.
Jahdae Barron is expected to start in Surtain's place against the Seahawks and
Devon Key will likely start during Hufanga's absence. Denver might also consider promoting veteran Taylor Rapp from the practice squad to provide more depth at safety.
