Those in the NFL media continue to take their shots at the Denver Broncos following their humbling defeat at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night.
There is plenty of subject matter for media members to work with. The Broncos simply looked like a team that was not ready to play, and the Chiefs made them pay for it. Kansas City rushed for 220 yards on the ground and made Bo Nix look foolish in the defeat.
Nix averaged just 4.7 yards per completed pass in the game, and he looked bewildered as he dropped back for each pass. Now, NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger has joined the party. Baldinger chose one play to sum up how badly the Broncos looked in this game.

If you watched the game, it's hard to dispute. It was one of the poorest
performances by a team coached by Sean Payton in his career. Baldinger took aim at a play in the second quarter where the Chiefs scored a touchdown on a short pass from Patrick Mahomes to Rashee Rice.

"Maybe this one play demonstrates why it was such a beatdown by the Chiefs against the Broncos last night," said Baldinger.
It allows Broncos fans to sit through one of the team's many examples of bad tackling in this game, which featured an incredibly bad attempt by outside linebacker Jonah Elliss, who tried to just throw himself into Rice. If that wasn't bad enough, several Broncos defenders are shown walking after Rice heads to the end zone.
It was just a total lack of effort by the team and Baldinger states that if Payton is going to show one clip to his team this week, it should be this one.
