Despite the slow start to the season for Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, both Nix and offensive coordinator Davis Webb believe that there is hope for a big game on the horizon.
"I think Logan (Kilgore), he's been the quarterbacks coach, has done a good job, I think he's done a good job with him, and with Bo and I's conversations, they're a little bit different, been with him for a few years; I think he's in a good spot," Webb told reporters on Thursday. "I think yesterday, him and me did really good, took a little bit of accountability, hyped up his teammates, and I think he's ready to go on a little run. I think (Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback) Trevor Lawrence did something similar last year, and he had a great end to his campaign last year, and it's
kicking into this year, he's doing a great job, and hopefully Bo can continue that trend."

Webb's confidence in Nix comes amidst a firestorm of criticism across the NFL landscape for the young quarterback, who has fought through mental and possible physical struggles after his ankle injury late in the year last fall.
Nix has struggled, but his history shows that he is ready and absolutely up for the challenge. After a complete Thursday Night Football dud against the Las Vegas Raiders in 2025, Nix ripped off five straight 200-plus yard performances, and helped the Broncos win four out of the five of those contests.
Nix has the chance to show that he is ready to face and exorcise his demons in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals. If he can't, the Broncos may have to consider any and every option at their disposal to help fix the slump.
