The Denver Broncos have ruled out three players for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte.
The Broncos ruled out safety Brandon Jones (hamstring), defensive lineman Eyioma Uwazurike (shoulder) and cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine (ankle) for Week 9.
Jones suffered a hamstring injury in practice last week and aggravated it during a 28-24 win over the Kansas City Chiefs last weekend. Denver's top backup safeties are Taylor Rapp and Devon Key. JL Skinner and Tycen Anderson are also available.
Elsewhere on the injury front, wide receiver Pat Bryant (ankle; injured reserve), safety Talanoa Hufanga (ankle) and outside linebacker Dondrea Tillman (hip) are listed as questionable. Bryant will likely be activated from IR to the 53-man roster
on Saturday. Hufanga has a chance to return this weekend after missing the team's last three games. Tillman just popped up on the injury report on Friday.
