The Denver Broncos are set to host the Seattle Seahawks for Thursday Night Football in a key matchup for both teams.
Each team sits at 3-2 heading into this game. The Broncos looked rough against a depleted and winless Los Angeles Chargers team last Sunday, while the Seahawks dropped a home game within the division to the San Francisco 49ers. Each team will be looking to build some momentum with a big win in this game, and it's hard to say which team needs the win more.
For the Broncos, this game marks the last game of the team's incredibly difficult six-game stretch to open the season and while most fans would have accepted a 3-3 start, a 4-2 start, particularly with the way the team has played in the first month and a half, would feel like stealing.
The Broncos will be down two key defenders, as Pat Surtain II and Talanoa Hufanga will miss this game. However, it seems that Riley Moss is on track to return. Still, the team will likely have its hands full keeping Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in check.
This was nearly last year's Super Bowl matchup. The Seahawks won it all last season and would love a chance to repeat. Can they get out of the Mile High City with a victory? Here are some bold predictions for the game.
Broncos vs. Seahawks bold predictions

1. Seahawks will have less than 50 yards rushing
The Seahawks rank 17th in the league in rushing, gaining an average of 106 yards per game on the ground. The Broncos have been dismantled by the run this season, giving up an average of 145.2 yards per game on the ground. Only three teams have been worse.
But with the Seahawks still missing Zach Charbonnet and rookie running back Jadarian Price, they won't be able to do much damage with Emmanuel Wilson and George Holani. The Broncos will hold the Seahawks to less than 50 yards on the ground in this game.
2. Bo Nix will have less than 125 yards passing
Not all of these bold predictions will be positive for the Broncos. With the way Bo Nix has been playing lately, it's hard to project him to do well against a strong defense on a short week, even if it is a home game.
Nix is averaging just 188.4 yards passing per game this season and on Thursday against the Seahawks, he won't even approach that number. Nix threw for just 123 yards last week against the Chargers and he'll be right around that number again on Thursday night.
3. Devon Key will get an interception
The Seahawks have turned the ball over nine times so far this season. Only four teams have more turnovers.
Sam Darnold has thrown an interception in each of his last three starts and in two of those, he threw two picks. One of the biggest keys to victory for the Broncos in this game will be to force some turnovers and without two big defensive players in the secondary, an unlikely hero might need to step up.
That will be Devon Key, Hufanga's replacement, who will record his first career interception in this game.
4. Wil Lutz wins the game as the clock hits zero
Expect to see a sloppy, defensive struggle as each team will struggle on a short week. It will be cool to see each team wearing their throwback jerseys for this game, but it won't be a masterpiece on the field.
Broncos kicker Wil Lutz will play a key role in this one, booting multiple field goals, including the game-winner right as time expires.
Broncos 16, Seahawks 14.
