While the Denver Broncos took care of business against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, one of their former quarterbacks also helped his team secure a big victory.
After Sam Darnold went down with an injury in the first game of the NFL season, former Broncos quarterback Drew Lock took over for the foreseeable future. He came into the game in Week 1 and helped the Seattle Seahawks defeat the New England Patriots in a Super Bowl LX rematch. On Sunday, he led the Seahawks to another win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Lock had an extremely efficient game, completing 19 of 26 passes for 235 yards and three touchdowns as the Seahawks defeated the Cardinals 31-7 to improve to 2-0 on the season. He knew which guy to get the ball to, as all three of his
touchdown passes went to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who caught nine passes for 155 yards.
Teams around the league are going to be keeping their eyes on Lock, who is in his second stint with Seattle, as he could potentially go the same route as Darnold and bounce around the league until he gets a shot to be a starter again.

Lock was chosen in the second round of the 2019 draft by the Broncos. He started just 18 games for the team, posting a record of 8-10. He completed 59.3 percent of his passes while throwing for 4,740 yards with 25 touchdowns and 20 interceptions before being included in the trade that brought Russell Wilson to Denver.
Speaking of former Broncos quarterbacks, Tim Tebow was part of the Broncos' festivities on Sunday at Empower Field as well. It was a great day for the Broncos and a couple of former quarterbacks that much of the fanbase still enjoys rooting for.
