Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix may be poised for a huge Year 3. With the weapons now around him, and coming off his first career playoff win, Nix is in a position many other signal-callers would be dying to be in.
With a potential big season incoming, NFL.com writer Kevin Patra believes Nix could earn his first Pro Bowl nod this fall. Although Patra thinks he could have chosen wide receiver Jaylen Waddle as a first-time Pro Bowl selection in 2026, he contends that if Waddle posts career numbers in Denver, Nix will, too.
"I considered putting Jaylen Waddle in this spot, as he’s in position to mash in his first year outside Miami," Patra wrote in an article naming one first-time Pro Bowl pick for each AFC team. "But let’s be honest: If Waddle shines,
Bo Nix will, too. The third-year pro has steadily improved in Denver. His ability to keep the offense flowing and splash big gains continues to grow. The early returns with new play-caller Davis Webb have all been positive. If Nix stays healthy and smooths out some of the dips the offense saw last season, he’ll push his way toward the top of AFC signal-callers."
Nix has already made history in his first few seasons as a Bronco, even outpacing members of his 2024 draft class who get more national recognition week in and week out. Nix has been, and continues to be, a cerebral, under-the-radar leader for Denver, making them one of the teams to beat in the AFC going into 2026.
If Nix earns Pro Bowl recognition in 2026, the Broncos must be doing something right.
