The Denver Broncos have elevated two players from the practice squad ahead of their Week 2 showdown with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Most fans can probably guess which two players were called up.
The Broncos elevated fullback Adam Prentice and long snapper Mitchell Fraboni from the practice squad to the game-day roster for Week 2. Both players will revert back to the practice squad on Monday.
NFL teams are allowed to elevate up to two players from the practice squad to the game-day roster each week, and those players do not have to clear waivers to return to the practice squad. However, there is a limit of three elevations per player each season. Prentice and Fraboni have now used two of their three possible elevations after getting called up two weeks
in a row.
