Denver Broncos wide receiver Pat Bryant is expected to miss "a few weeks" after spraining his ankle during Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Bryant was carted off the field following a 30-yard reception in the third quarter on a 24-14 loss to the Niners. That marked Bryant's third catch of the game.
If the Broncos believe Bryant's injury could keep him sidelined for at least four weeks, the receiver will be a candidate for injured reserve. If placed on IR, Bryant would have to sit out four games, and he would be eligible to return in Week 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
With Bryant injured, Denver's remaining healthy receivers are Jaylen Waddle, Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin and Marvin
Mims. The Broncos also have four receivers on the practice squad, including Lil'Jordan Humphrey, who was just demoted from the active roster last week.
