The Denver Broncos' new facility has been a subject of awe coming into the 2026 season.
After two seasons, 22 months and 750,000 manhours of construction, the club opened its sprawling 205,000-square-foot Broncos Park Powered by CommonSpirit building, which has been the physical crowning jewel of the Walton-Penner ownership group
to date, a symbol of the commitment the leadership has poured into the team.Jeff Legwold took an in-depth look into the construction of the building and the features within, in a recent article for ESPN. On the football side, it is focused on the players and their health.
"Ten out of 10, it's a wellness center," defensive tackle D.J. Jones said in the article. "I think we just needed a new locker room, but we went in the grocery
store and got more than milk."
As part of the new facility, every department from football to stadium operations were brought under one roof for the first time in team history. Stadium and business operations occupy the third floor; the football side (coaching, GM, president) sits on the second floor; while the entire floor level is designed specifically for the players.
Among the amenities inside the building are a cryotherapy room, golf simulator and even a barbershop; a true space for players to unwind and heal, while business goes on around them.
Legwold noted the history of the team built into the building.
"Nods to the franchise's history are all over the building but are especially evident on (the third) floor," Legwold wrote for ESPN. "Along with memorabilia on the walls, the conference rooms have been given names like Miles (the mascot), Thunder (the horse that runs the field after touchdowns) and Barrel Man (a Broncos superfan)."

Despite the nature and newness of the facility, coach Sean Payton does not care as much about the bells and whistles; ultimately, it's about the people.
"I said this yesterday in our first team meeting: don’t ever lose track of the facility and who’s in the facility," Payton said in late July. "Who’s in the facility is the most important thing. There have been a ton of teams in fancy new gigs that haven’t been to the postseason in quite a while. Let’s not lose track of what’s in the facility."
The Broncos begin their season in a very crucial road matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 14.
