The Denver Broncos are in the process of making roster cuts to get down to the league-mandated number of 53 players on their roster before the 4:00 p.m. MT deadline on Sunday.
One of the more interesting moves the team has made to this point is waiving rookie safety Miles Scott. Scott had a promising start to his Broncos tenure when he turned some heads in rookie minicamp this spring, but he showed that he is still in the early stages of his development over the summer.
He would be a perfect addition to the team's practice squad.

The Broncos want him back on the practice squad.
In order to get there, Scott will first have to clear waivers. Players will be available
on the waiver wire until tomorrow morning, and any of the other 31 teams can place a claim on them to bring them onto their roster.
The Broncos selected Scott in the seventh round (No. 246 overall) in this year's draft out of Illinois. He recorded seven tackles in the preseason. Scott began his college career at wide receiver before transitioning to defensive back. Still just 24 years old, he still has plenty of room to grow within the organization.
The Broncos also cut undrafted free-agent safety Parker Roberston, leaving starters Talanoa Hufanga and Brandon Jones, along with Devon Key, Tycen Anderson and JL Skinner as the only safeties still on the team as of publication.
Time will tell if the Broncos are able to bring Scott back as part of their practice squad.
