The Denver Broncos returned to practice on Wednesday as they begin on-field preparations for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
During the portion of Wednesday's practice that was open to media members, safeties Talanoa Hufanga (ankle
) and Brandon Jones (hamstring) were both present. However, defensive lineman Eyioma Uwazurike (shoulder) and cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine (ankle) were not spotted at the indoor practice field.Hufanga has missed the team's last three games. Jones suffered a hamstring injury in practice last Thursday but was cleared to play in Sunday's game. He then aggravated the injury during a 28-24 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Pat Bryant (ankle) returned to practice, opening his 21-day window
to be activated from injured reserve. If Bryant is not activated within the next three weeks, he will spend the rest of the season on IR.
