Drew Lock's back.
The former Denver Broncos second-round draft pick entered Wednesday's season opener against the New England Patriots after the Seattle Seahawks lost starting quarterback Sam Darnold to a hip injury on their opening drive.
Seattle trailed 10-0 in the third quarter before Lock led a seven-play drive that ended in a field goal to make it 10-3. Then, in the fourth quarter, Lock led a five-play, 67-yard drive that ended with his 45-yard touchdown pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba to tie the game at 10-10.
Later in the fourth, the Seahawks added another field goal to take a 13-10 lead. New England later drove down to the 16-yard line before Patriots quarterback Drake Maye threw an interception in the end zone that sealed the game. That was
Maye's third interception of the night.
Lock finished the game 16-of-22 passing for 187 yards with one touchdown and no turnovers. He also rushed twice for 13 yards.

The Broncos are scheduled to host Seattle on Thursday Night Football on Oct. 15 in Week 6. The severity of Darnold's injury is not yet known, so it remains to be seen who will suit up at QB for Seattle in that matchup.
