The NFL's 2026 season opener is less than a week away, and the Denver Broncos are nine days away from their season opener.
The Broncos will begin the season on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football, facing star quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The list of notable QBs on Denver's 2026 schedule
also includes Josh Allen, Matthew Stafford, Justin Herbert and Drake Maye, among others.The Broncos play their division rivals twice, so they're set to face Mahomes (Chiefs) and Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers) two times. Going into the season, the Las Vegas Raiders are starting Kirk Cousins, but it's possible No. 1 overall draft pick Fernando Mendoza could take over QB1 duties in Las Vegas at some point this fall.

Nix helped Denver's squad go 14-3 last season, winning the AFC West and claiming the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs.
