The past is the past for a reason, right? According to an X user, we should leave it there. Denver Broncos Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway was mentioned in a now-viral tweet about him and Dak Prescott, and Elway's teammate, Shannon Sharpe, questioned the tweet's validity.
And maybe the fan wanted a reaction from Shannon, but he got one. He responded to a Sharpe tweet regarding the Cowboys' commitment to a balanced offense. And, well, I’ll let you look at how the Broncos Hall of Famer handled the X user:

With X, you never know when a user is trolling or attempting to engagement farm. But Shannon Sharpe apparently had time Monday night. Indeed, he gave the fan exactly what he was asking for. Maybe
the fan got the attention he wanted. Or maybe he learned not to test Sharpe’s knowledge for football. I guess we will never know.
