Six games into the 2026 NFL season, the Denver Broncos are currently on pace to make the AFC playoffs.
The Broncos (3-2) are still trailing the Kansas City Chiefs (4-0) in the AFC West, but Denver moved above the Las Vegas Raiders (3-2) on Sunday, and the Los Angeles Chargers (0-5) are just about sunk after Sunday's result.
If the season ended today, Kansas City would win the division, but the Broncos would still make the playoffs as the AFC's sixth seed. Las Vegas would be the seventh and final seed in the conference, but the Cleveland Browns (3-2), Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) and Cincinnati Bengals (3-2) only trail the Broncos and Raiders by tiebreakers.
NFL playoff picture (AFC)
- Kansas City Chiefs: 4-0
- Baltimore Ravens: 4-1
- Jacksonville Jaguars: 4-1
- Buffalo Bills: 4-1
- New England Patriots: 3-2
- Denver Broncos: 3-2
- Las Vegas Raiders: 3-2
Denver has nine conference games and four division games still to come this season, so there's
a lot of seeding yet to be determined. As of now, though, the Broncos are on pace to push for a playoff spot.
