The Denver Broncos might be breaking out an alternate helmet for their Monday Night Football clash with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1.
The Broncos wore white helmets on Wednesday, and they have two more practices scheduled this week. NFL rules require that "[a]lternate color helmets must be worn in practice at a minimum during the week leadingup to the game in which they will be used."
So, Denver could be preparing to meet that requirement by wearing the helmets in practice this week. It doesn't guarantee the white helmet will be worn on Monday, but it seems like a safe assumption after Mario Vetanze teased the possibility earlier this week.

The Broncos have already announced their jersey schedule for the full 2026 season, but the club waits to announce their pants and sock colors until the week of the game. The club also hasn't announced its alternate helmet schedule. In addition to Week 1, there are two other games that could be candidates for an alternate helmet look in 2026.
