The Denver Broncos' 24-14 loss against the San Francisco 49ers was a difficult one. Not only did the offense sputter-start again under Davis Webb, but the Broncos were also ravaged by injuries that could impact the team deep into the season.
Late in the first half, star cornerback Pat Surtain went down with a non-contact ankle injury, and the man opposite him, Riley Moss, also did not return to the game after halftime with a rib injury. In the third quarter, wide receiver Pat Bryant went down with an awful-looking ankle injury, and was carted off the field, while defensive lineman Zach Allen and running back Tyler Badie appeared to get dinged up during the game.
Conspiracy theorists who scoffed at the notion that the electrical substation built
on the grounds near Levi's Stadium causes lower-body injuries became believers by the end of regulation.
Broncos Twitter reacted to the injury bug biting Denver hard in San Francisco. You can see their reactions below.

Devastating day so far for #Broncos injuries. They've lost CBs Pat Surtain and Riley Moss for game and now cart coming out for WR Pat Bryant

There's a theory that electromagnetic fields from a Silicon Valley Power substation next to Levi's Stadium cause non-contact lower-body injuries.

The Broncos are dropping like flies in Santa Clara next to the substation. Horrendous place to play football. Joke by the NFL.

Substation taking out all of the Broncos players.

I'm asking the NFL to ban the 49ers from the NFL.

The only thing that happens in their games is injuries.
This is the only way.

The Broncos look to rebound against the winless Los Angeles Chargers in Week 5. Let's hope this week they can heal and recover from this soon.
