Shannon Sharpe is a man of many talents. Football legend, sports analyst, media mogul. But when he played in the NFL with the Denver Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens, he was known as a prankster who enjoyed having fun.
On one of his shows, Nightcap, Sharpe thought with his co-hosts, Joe Johnson and Chad Johnson, about his top pranks during his Broncos days, including pranking Clinton Portis and making sure high draft picks who were in skill positions would get “got” by him.
But rookie hazing is part of the game in professional sports, and to older vets like Shannon at the time, it's just paying your dues. To someone like Shannon, getting pranked is just a way to build connection on a team that's looking to make a playoff push or, in Sharpe's later
years, Super Bowl pushes. To view more from Sharpe and his Nightcap crew, check it out below.
