Denver Broncos wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is "fine," the Denver Post's Sam Jane reported Tuesday.
Several Broncos fans tweeted after Sunday's 30-26 comeback win over the Los Angeles Rams that they spotted Waddle exiting the stadium in a walking boot, and a photo and video appeared to confirm those tweets. Fortunately, it sounds like Waddle does not have a serious injury.
Mike Weber, a cousin of cornerback Pat Surtain who does marketing work for PS2 and Waddle, tweeted "there’s nothing wrong" with the receiver on Monday morning. That message from someone who knows Waddle well, followed by Jane's report, suggests there's no reason for alarm about Waddle's status.
The Broncos are scheduled to hold their first practice of the week on Wednesday. Reporters
will be in attendance for the early portion of practice, and the team will release an injury report later in the day. So we should learn more about Waddle's status tomorrow.
